That makes me so angry I actually have a little ball of rage in the pit of my stomach. Who does something like that?

Why do people have to be so nasty? It makes me very sad.

I’m not sure I’ll ever figure out why some people choose to treat other people like the customer treated your daughter. People have hated others for many reasons, including just the color of their skin. But for a sports team? That’s mind-blowingly rude. That’s putting so much into your self-worth from your beloved sports team, that you despise anyone who roots for a rival. I believe a great deal of cruelty comes from insecurity. In the situation of your post, maybe the customer remembered the times that the rival team beat his beloved team and how horrible it made him feel. So he was compelled to lash out. Or maybe I’m way off base. Like I said, I doubt I’ll ever figure out the reasons behind this kind of treatment.

It wasn’t my daughter, it was her coworker. Either way, it’s wrong, it’s rude. My daughter probably would’ve told them to get out of the store even thought she doesn’t have the authority to do so. lol
